HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO......oh my days I think that's the first time I've started like that... I meant ..BONJOURRRRRRR!!!!!!
HOW ARE YOU ALL THIS BEAUTIFUL MONDAY MORNING!!!
I absolutely loved receiving all of your emails and photos and videos and everything. You really do know how to spoil me don't ya!! I feel completely LOVED. The only thing I would say...stop with this face switching thing...ITS CREEPING ME OUT.
I can't even re-look at some of the photos it looks so creepy. Haha!!! (But I have to admit I think I'll be trying that out when I get back...it looks fun!) and I bet it's got you all laughing!! Haha!!
Well I love you EVEEEEEEEN more this week!! Thank you for making me smile and laugh this morning!! YOU’RE SERIOUSLY ALL THE BEST!!!
Mother I'm so glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day. You definitely deserve it. I'm sorry I made you cry...but if they were happy tears then that's ok! I love you a lot!
I sound posh? No way? Posher than usual? Has my voice actually changed? Do you think I look different too...or still 12? Maybe 14 now...or is that pushing it? Haha
So who's ready for the miracle week I just had???? I DONT THINK SO!!! Too many miracles but I'm going to share as much as I can as possible, as fast as my little fingers can take me!!! Haha...ok HERE WE GOOOO.....
So first miracle of the week starts off with the lesson we had with the one and only Francis in his little cafe!! Normally the lessons are short with him as he has to leave and deal with customers. It's quite inconvenient. But voila we do it.
But this time we prayed that we could have a good, spiritual lesson with Francis and well when you ask in faith, you receive...if it's meant to be!! Haha!! So we did and it was the best lesson we ever had with him, filled with the spirit and we really got to connect with him and find out what's stopping him from progressing. It was so great!!!!
This week we also had our Skype interviews with President Brown!! It was in Tuesday. Wow. Really just wow. I am going to keep in touch with him my whole life. Because he has influenced me in such a big way. He is a spiritual giant. And I love him, he is so inspired. I got onto Skype and the very first question he asked me was EXACTLY what I wanted to speak to him about. Incredible!! In that interview the things we shared with each other, personal experiences on both sides, weaknesses we found we had in common and shared ways in which we can both try and overcome them. It was a moment I can never forget. We cried together and I felt so much peace. It was an answer to my prayer and I know that we get called to missions and to mission presidents and I was definitely called to President Brown. I am so lucky!!!
Haha so I discovered something funny this week, which will make you laugh, so every night to get home we have to take a train, and I discovered that even if you are early for the train, if you run up the stairs like you’re late, everyone starts freaking out and running with you. Hahaha. I'm so mean but it's so funny! So I do that quite often because it makes me laugh and the other people who just feel like they've ran a marathon laugh too!! Haha just realized how random that is...moving on...
Cute little moment I had this week, I was on the tram and a little boy...probably like 2 or 3.. He kind of looked like Jackson! Blew me a kiss!! It was adorable!! It like has no importance whatsoever BUT I thought you'd like to share my cute little moment that made my day ;)
Ok no joke, MIRACLES ARE EVERYWHERE. this week has blown me away from all the miracles that are happening here in Geneva. So in Geneva we have 10 missionaries, so five teams and the work is going incredibly!! It's amazing to be a part of!!
For one, this week we got like 9 new investigators engaged to baptism!!
So here goes the first miracle, we had an rdv arranged with a less active and she cancelled right at the last minute so we went with our back-up plan which was to contact in her little neighborhood. So we did and met good people, but nothing really special happened, well we got in the tram a little earlier to get to our next rdv and I sit opposite this man, I say bonjour and he sees my badge. He says "oh you’re the missionaries?" I smiled and said "yes have you spoken to the missionaries before?" He goes on to explain how a few years ago he lived in the south of France and was taught three times by elders there and then he moved to Geneva. Well I asked him if he is still interested to know more and he said yes! We fixed to see him this coming week. And we are SO EXCITED. But what a miracle. The whole fact that the less active cancelled and everything worked out so that we would be on that tram, at that time to sit opposite him etc, blows my mind.
Truly guided!! I'm so excited to see how he progresses and how much the lord is going to change his life!!!!
Then here comes the big miracle of the week. Our dmp (ward mission leader) gave us a referral of his friend, N. She is actually from London… woo!! It was nice to hear a good, British accent! Haha! Anyway...so we met with her on Wednesday or Thursday and it was such a great lesson. She had called us before and warned us she has a lot of questions, that she hasn't found answers too and how she has been searching for a long time and hasn't found anything and that she is going through a lot of trials right now in her life, so as you can imagine we were a little nervous!! But we prayed and fasted that all would be well. And it was. We taught her the restoration of the church of Jesus Christ. And she just kept agreeing with it all "that makes so much sense etc" and then she said "I have never felt this way before, I feel so much peace sitting here with you, I've found my answers," we invited her as she goes home to pray and ask God if it was true what we had taught her and she replies "I will do that. But I don't think I have to, I know that this is true, I feel it, I've already received my answer!!" WHAT!! We invited her there and then to follow the example of our savior Jesus Christ and be baptized and she replied with "absolutely!" She had a huge smile on her face. The spirit filled the room!! I think it may have been one of the most amazing experiences I've had on my mission so far. What a miracle right?!
And we are seeing so many more. This coming week we have so many rdvs with potential investigators who are incredible people who have been prepared by the Lord!! I AM IN THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS WORK!! Ahhhh
Of course it's taken a lot of faith and hard work, hard days and let downs for these miracles to show up, but after faith and trials come miracles!!!
Another miracle. We were fed by members every single day this week!! And a few pounds were gained...but I didn't explode. So there's another miracle for you! Ha
AND do you remember our investigator Joycelyn we were teaching in Annemasse? And we engaged her to baptism WELL the Saturday just gone...SHE GOT BAPTISED!!!!! Wooooooooo!! I'm so proud of her!! SO HAPPY!!!! The sisters said it was the happiest day of her life!!!
So as you can tell I've had an
epic miracle week!!!! Like always! And I'm soooo happy and I love you all so much..,I almost forgot your FAVOURITE part...my studiessss!! Haha here we go!!....
- "you don't have to be afraid of the unknown. Because it's only unknown to you. God is well aware of where you are and of every step he is asking you to take."
I LOVED THIS QUOTE that Sister Kelley received from her mum! It's true there are many things that are unknown to us but he knows everything. He has it all figured out. He sees the bigger picture and he sees our efforts!! Trust him!
-"Men are that they might have joy’--a joy that includes a fullness of life, a life dedicated to service, to love and harmony in the home, and the fruits of honest toil--an acceptance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ-of its requirements and commandments.
Only in these will you find true happiness, the happiness which doesn’t fade with the lights and the music and the crowds.”
I feel like I am repeating myself a little in every email, haha but it's what has been coming up in my studies lately. The constant theme of living a Christ centered life, but not losing hope in doing so. It's the end goal to be perfect right? even as he is perfect, but it cannot happen in a day, like he says it is a lifetime pursuit. We must be patient with ourselves, get back up when we fall, continue on, trusting in God and knowing he is happy with every little step you take towards him, no matter how tiny it may be!!
VOILA!! There you go!! Well here goes another week of this miracle transfer and this miracle mission!! I am more than excited!! Sister Kelley is amazing, I love her so much. She is doing incredibly and she's training me more like!!
I know that our Savior lives. He gave his life for each and every one of us so that we could live again. There is no end. He is the light of the world. He knows us perfectly and he knows how to comfort us perfectly for he took upon himself our pains, our sins, our sadness so that he could so perfectly comfort each one of us. I love him with all of my heart. And I will constantly try and become like him, it's the key to a happy life!!!
I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH.
GO HAVE ANOTHER HAPPY WEEK. SMILE!!
LOVE YOUR ONE AND ONLY.....

- We have been created to have joy. Not a temporary joy which we find this world has to offer. But an everlasting and eternal joy that God has to offer. We find it through obedience. Exact obedience. Through following his counsel and living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That's when we start to get a taste of the complete joy we will one day feel when we are standing with our loved ones in the presence of God. What an incredible feeling, experience, joy to strive for!! I wish that we all have this goal to find this joy. Because if we shall seek, we shall find! I know that's true! So go seek it!!
- "We must be careful, as we seek to become more and more [Christlike], that we do not become discouraged and lose hope. Becoming Christlike is a lifetime pursuit and very often involves growth and change that is slow, almost imperceptible...
