How is everyone doing on this marvellous snowy day!! hahaha, its snowing here and it is sooooo pretty. We went to our temple session this morning and when we were finished everywhere was covered in white, i wish i had of taken my camera and taken a picture because it was sooooo beautiful. But then we had to walk the way back in a blizzard (no a large one but personally i would still call it a blizzard..haha)..
Anyway!! ...
Choir is still a highlight of my week. We have it tonight but we are not sure what we are singing yet so should be interesting, and yes muhumma i sing soprano - but they kind of have it split into two sections of soprana the 'high HIGH voices who break glass when then sing'....and then my level! haha its good though! But because we sit right next to the Sister's singing HIGHHHH i sometimes find myself going opera...hahaha!!
They really just keep throwing us in the deep end here EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Its sooo frightening but soooo great because we are improving and its the greatest way to learn.
I know right, how cool is it that i have now used Emily's story to bring the spirit into my lessons. She is great and i know she is watching over me, i just know it!!
In the temple today it was so lovely sitting in the Celestial room and just thinking and listening. I looked to my left and there is a huge picture of the saviour with his arms opened wide, as if to welcome us all home. I cannot wait for the day when we are all together and the saviour is just standing their smiling welcoming us back. Ahhh man it makes me smile so big everytime!!!
Ok so Sunday was testimony meeting as it was fast sunday and yes i did get up and bare my testimony!! They gave us permission to say what we could in french and then to share in english too so it was a really spiritual experiences. Especially hearing the Elder's being able to testify in english - because some are so quiet because they are limited with what they can say in French (like me) sooo it was really great. Oh also, on the temple walk we met an Elder called Elder shaner??? (i think) anyway he is going to be serving in the Greece mission. And he said how there are only like 17 missionaries in the whole mission and i was like..oh my goodness i know three!! Elder Deighton, Dixon and Donker! So i've asked him to say hi when he gets to meet them all!!
Oh also please tell sophie. Congragulations too for me. Tell her i love her alot!!!!
YAY PACKAGE!! are you sending it whilst at the mtc or france??? ok one thing i need...just one thing....are you all ready....CADBURYS CHOCOLATE!!!
Ok so my beautiful family CAN YOU BELIEVE i only have ...well less than two weeks left here at the MTC!!! I'm soooo scared BUT SOOOOO EXCITED!!! i get my travel details this friday!! so i'll let you know next week about the timings and everything. because i get to call you at the airports etc!! Also i got a letter today saying this friday i get to go and do a session in the salt lake temple --- all the international missionaries get the chance to SOOOOO EXCITED!!!
Ok so this week has been pretty crazy!! learn't alot!! Yesterday our 'investigator' Albert said he would be baptised at the end of the month!! WOOHOO!! the spirit was so strong in that lesson - we taight him about Jesus Christ and the Attributes of Jesus christ and how he is our perfect example!
We also taught the spainish couple again about recieving answers to our prayers and how we can recognise the spirit. The lesson then went on to us teaching them about how we are all children of God. The husband started crying as we testified to him how much God loves each of us, individually. I was thinking how amazing this really is. We are all sons and daughters OF A GOD!! And we have the chance to become like him. We are heirs to becoming Queens and Kings!!! Blows my mind...Queen 'Sister Fagg' I kinda like it! hahaha just kidding!! But how amazing is this knowledge we have!!!?
Ohhh funny story...on wednesday night all of the sisters in our room decided to shower at the same time and sing hymns hahaha...but we got back and sister wilsher had shut the door behind her so we were locked out because none of us had our keys. We all burst out laughing because we were just in our towels and pj's!!! So i called down to the front desk. Using the emergency phone. Which i felt so embarrassed because they pick this phone up like straight away for emergencies. And explained what had happened...but they brought us another key so all was good. But it was pretty funny.
Me and sister Mcclellan taught the district meeting on sunday on 'enduring to the end' and we finished the meeting by reading the 'footprints in the sand' and i explained how we have this long journey and yes there are going to be hills to climb and roads to cross. It is going to take endurance - spiritually and physically - but we need to know that we are never ever enduring this life alone. He is carrying us. I just wanted to share that with you guys!!
So it snowed earlier in the week!! And sister Wilsher is going to send some photos she took on her camera to me and then i will forward them on! i know how much you love my pictures..haha!! Your going to be sick of seeing my face!!
Tomorrow we have SEVEN new sister missionaries joining our Branch! WOOHOOOo!!! we cannot wait to actually have sisters to train as we are the only sisters in our zone right now since the Tahitian sister's left!! soooo exciting!!
Oh yeah...on sunday we got to watch the Joseph Smith film....wait for it... IN FRENCH!! hahaha it was so funny at first because it sounded so weird. a french joseph smith etc but it was such an uplifting experience. Even though i could only probably understand about 2% of what they were saying - the spirit was the same. I love Joseph Smith, for all that he went through to restore this true church. He is such an incredible individual!! Seeing all the hurt, sadness and persecution he had to persevere through....but his faith did not change. Actually became stronger because of it. Ah i just love the faith he had to do what he did. I will be forever grateful to him for his unchanging faith!!
Ok so the devotionals this week were kind of like zone conferences...so not as many quotes - sorry guys! But i have a couple i wrote down! haha me and my quotes!:
" i dont want to be stronger, i want him (christ) to be stronger in me.."
" Look at yourself as the Lord is looking at you.."
"you cannot loose your happiness, unless YOU choose to..."
I Love you all so much. You make me stronger every week! Make sure you all have an INCREDIBLE week!!
BIG HUGS to you all!!
Love your one and only....
