oK ARE YOU READY FOR THE WEEK I HAD...ITS A GOOD ONE.. OK HERE WE GO...
MIRACLE: a 20 year old Californian approached on in the metro station and asked if we had some change for him to buy a drink, as missionaries we are not allowed to give away money, but we are allowed to buy them the drink, so we bought him a drink, and we got talking and he explained how he was heading on his way home and he had a feeling that he needed to go down to the metro stop (he didnt have to because he takes a bus to get home normally) and then he was just sitting on the stairs and he saw us and he had a feeling he needed to speak with us so he did. And now we have taught him 3 times this week and he came to church yesterday. It was a huge miracle. he has such an incredible relationship with god, he follows any promptings that he gets, so he followed it and found us. MIRACLE.
We went to Montreaux this week to help a less active. IT IS STUNNING. WE ARE GOING BACK TO MONTREAUX FOR SURE. I HAVE SOME PHOTOS. i will sent them over. anyway so we went to do some service for a less active, who we find out her husband is a famous painter `visson` and she takes us into the montreaux palace hotel (i felt like royalty) haha and we helped her transport the paintings she is shipping off!! it was so cool!! And her husband was baptised by the actor (two face - from the batman, recent movie or something??` because he served here as a missionary in lausanne. cool!
anyway..
FUNNY - i got hit by a granny this week!! HAHAHAHA!! she did NOT want to speak about christ or families at all so she hit me!! haha it was hilarious!!
Teaching one of our amis and it really wasnt getting anywhere, he had ALOT of questions, we were answering them but he wasnt accepting anything, it was becoming quite difficult, and then we realised we were not testifying, as soon as we all started to testify how we, personally knew these things to be true, he stopped for a long time actually, he was silent and he said he would think about it. ThE POWER of a testimony is proven right there. it makes such a difference.
OK HERE IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR...TRANSFERS....DUN DUN DUNNNNN
DRUM ROLL PLEASE...SISTER FAGG YOU WILL BE STAYING IN LAUSANNE. WOOOOOOO!!!!
i am soooo happy!!! and i am receiving sister greciano, she is another spainish sister!! she is one of the nicest people i know i have done a few exchanges with her. so i am so excited. a little nervous for the change but more excited!!
Lausanne just doesnt want to get rid of me!! haha!!
BUT HERE COMES THE BIG NEWS THE COOL NEWS...
ELDER SPOORS HAS BEEN CALLED TO SERVE IN MY WARD!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS MY ZONE LEADER!!! hahahaha!! i actually cannot wait. its crazy we were in the same district but he is in my ward with elder price, as the zone leadeers!!! ic couldnt believe, so we are going to be working together in lausanne ward and see eachother all the time!! I CANT WAIT!!
MIRACLE - our ami brought a friend to church like two weeks ago. and that ami is no longer taking the lessons because she struggled with a certain principles. But her friend that she brought to church got in contact with us and is now our new ami, being taught! so cool right!!
STUDY TIME!! - i have been studying a talk called `the fourth missionary` i dont know if anyone has read it. it is absolutely magnificent!! i tell you!! it says..
`your greatest work, your most important creation is and ever will be you...now have you planned your greatest work?, have you envisioned who you want to become?` etc etc i have said this before in another email but your personal testimony, your personal conversion is and ever will be your most important work here on earth. as you strengthen your own conversion you are automatically going to help others come unto christ.
On my mission i have truly come to see things in a whole new light. My testimony has been streĝthened more than i ever thought it could be. I am not saying this to boast AT ALL,.i am just saying how grateful i am to have this opportunity to serve, i would not feel the way i do about the gospel if it wasnt for my mission. ITS AN AMAZING JOURNEY TO EMBARK ON!!! i am so excited for all of the young men and women who are serving or who are going to serve. it really does change your live.
We had a relief society activity on saturday morning. went for a walk. it was pouring it down with rain!! but what did we come up with!! GUESS THE DISNEY SONG. hahaha i hummed every disney song i could think of (so you can guess it went on for a while) and it was so great!! everyone was joining ina nd having sooo much fun!! I love the lausanne ward so much! the members are amazing!! i cant believe if i didnt come on a mission i would not know these people. they would not be in my life! its crazy!!
STUDY - president utchdorf: his talk on `your wonderful journey home!! (everone go read it) its incredible. `yes the road has bumps, detours and even some hazards, but DONT focus on them. Look for the happiness your father in heaven has prepared for you in every step of your journey. HAPPINESS is the destination BUT its also the journey!!` I LOVE THIS SOO MUCH!! we are on this journey. The hurdles are a part of the journey. The ONLY way to overcome them is by choosing to be happy, i truly believe that. Happiness is the journey.
It was a great week this week. as it always is. and i am so excited for this next transfer. its going to be a little bit of a challenge but we are ready!! It was very difficult saying goodbye to sister camus, she is one incredible missionary. i will go through by whole mission trying to become the missionay she is!! It was even harder saying goodbye to sister wilsher. we have become close from serving eachother! she is going to france, the south! she is going to do amazing things!
Its so great seeing someone grow so much, and she is one of them. her testimony is unbreakable and the teaches with power always! i have been SO lucky to serve with all the companions i have had! SO LUCKY!!
I know that heavenly father is going to help me, if it gets hard, i know i am going to be pushed alot in this next transfer but it needs to be done, to become the missionary he wants me to become.I am so excited to continue to learn and grow. I know that through time of difficult seriously THE ONLY things we need to do, is trust him. I have learnt that. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He sees who we can become. and with him we become more than what we ever could on our own efforts. Im so thankful for the knowledge that i have that this church is true, and that we all have a heavenly father who loved us unconditionally. I hope you know that too!!
I love you all so much. Keep being happy, it makes me so happy reading how much you are enjoying life! keep loving the journey!!
I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER KNOW.
LOVE YOUR ONE AND ONLY...
