HOLAAAAA!!!! Or are we back to BONJOUR NOW?!
Alors est-ce que vous êtes prêtes pour ma semaine??? Je sais que vous
êtes prêtes!!!!
ARE YOU READY. I CAN SEE YOU ARE..HERE WE GOO!!!!...
Because I know you just love my weekly contacting miracles...we
approached a lady. And it got onto us asking her "do you know our
church?" And she said "no, but I have time right now. Tell me." WELL
OK THEN... Haha it was a miracle. We sat and spoke with her for about
an hour. It was epic.
THE SAME DAY we were searching for an address on our big map. And a
man stopped us to asked if we needed help. Which we did. He helped us
out. And then we went ... 2 minutes down the road, we see a man
running behind us, and it was him. He stopped us and said he felt he
needed to speak with us more..we taught him and are seeming him this
week. Miracle.
Tuesday- I had an exchange with sister arechaga! She is serving in the
Geneva spainish ward. So another spainish!! Haha!! I'll be pro when I
get home!! But it was so great!! She is a sister where no one can feel
uncomfortable around her. EVER she just clicks straight away with the
people, it's amazing to see! (I've sent a photo so you can put a face
to a name!)
Thursday- we had district meeting!! It was great I LOVE MISSIONARY
MEETINGS!! At the beginning we spoke about the things we learnt at the
conference. and one thing someone said was when they explained, how
there are missionaries in the spirit world right now teaching.
Probably our loved ones are teaching. And there are people begging
them to baptize them, but they can't, they are waiting for us. It's
all down to us. They are literally begging us to do the work for
them!!!!! D&C 84:88 - remember we are not alone doing this work!!
Straight after the meeting we had our ZONE FINDING DAY (again..I've
sent pictures.) IT WAS A MIRACLE DAY, I am not even kidding.
So there were around 20 missionaries here in Lausanne all contacting!!
It was epic!! So we were put into companions and I was with soeur
sutcliffe!!! We had an hour and a half to contact in our assigned
areas....and just to show how epic it was.. In that hour and a half we
had 13 conversations. Gave out two Books of Mormon. Fixed 2 rdvs. And
got 4 phone numbers!!! It was amazing...even though numbers don't mean
anything. And yesterday we met again with one of these people, and he
is now investigating the church!!!! MIRACLESSS.
OF COURSE because elder price and elder spoors organized it!!! They are great!
..we had a little mission we had to accomplish throughout the day for example
"start 5 conversations showing a picture of a temple.." Etc it was the
best day of my mission so far. There is so much strength you feel when
you know that there are 20 other missionaries in the same area as
you!! One man when we showed him a picture of the temple, was thrown
back at how beautiful it was. And said "I want to go there.." We
explained and set up a rdv to help him reach that goal. He left saying
"I'm going to look at this photo every single day!" It was so cool!!
At the end of the day we had a fhe together and shared our
testimonies. (Kind of felt like efy! Haha but it was great!) and I'm
going to share my testimony with you too!! My testimony of my savior
Jesus Christ and his church takes a HUGE part in my life. But it is
very simple. On a mission we see others change around us all the time,
but I think the person we see change the most is ourselves. We watched
the bible video "my kingdom is not of this world" and it made me in
that moment re appreciate my savior so much. I felt so much gratitude
whilst watching it for him. He suffered so that we can change, so that
we can improve and so that we can become someone we cannot become on
our own. Now that's a gift!! I know that the time we have here on
earth is minuscule in terms of eternities. But it determines
everything. That's how important it is. I love the gospel of Jesus
Christ, I know his church has been restored on the earth. I know the
Book of Mormon is true. I know Thomas s monson is a prophet. I said
all these things in my testimony since I was probably eight years old.
But now I really know they are truths.
We had a ward bbq on Saturday!!! SO GREAT. WAS ABLE TO say goodbyes to
all of the members!! I love Lausanne ward and I've loved serving with
them!! They are incredible people. Who I am going to miss so much
..so that kind of gave it away...
BUT TRANSFER CALLS........DRUM ROLLll
I am leaving Lausanne. I am just transferring to the ville across in
RENENS!! It's like a 20 minute drive not even that!! Haha!! But I'm so
excited. I'm sad to leave Lausanne but I'm excited to love more people
and serve more people. And just have a new experience!!!! My new
companion is sister yake yake -SHE IS FRENCH. SO MY FRENCH IS GOING TO
BE EPIC AT THE END OF THIS TRANSFER. Because she doesn't speak English
either! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!
Oh and elder spoors is still my zone leader so I'm going to see him
all the time!! wooohoooo
On Sunday bishop taught the joint relief society and priesthood class.
And it was incredible. He showed an amazing film on the Book of
Mormon. And spoke about its importance. We may not have been there
when lehi left Jerusalem, we may not of been there when Christ visited
the Americas. We may not of been kneeling in the sacred grove with
Joseph smith. But because of the scriptures we are able to relive
these glorious moments!! We are so lucky to have them. The scriptures
point the way to eternal perfection, and that is what we want.
Scriptures are revelation that BRING added revelation!! I know that's
true and so do you! :)
SMALL WORLD- I've sent a photo. So a girl in Lausanne ward served in
our mission at home. And was companions with sister wang foo (however
you spell it)... And so she came to visit and obviously I'm in that
ward so I SAW HER!!! It was so cool! AND we spoke in French
together....weird!!! Haha!!
It has been an amazing last week in my beautiful Lausanne. I'm excited
for this transfer. I know it's going to be epic. We have a mission
conference, with an area seventy. We have general conference this
transfer. And Anne charlottes baptism. And renen have a baptism in two
weeks!! It's going to be so great!!
I LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!! SOIOOOOOOOOO MUCH. SOOOOO MUCH.
Keep having amazing weeks!!!
LOVE YOUR ONE AND ONLY...
