BONJOUR MA FAMILLE!!!!!!!
Oh my days this is crazy!! I am sitting here doing emails in the Lyon gare, because yep you guessed it there has been some changes!!!!.... But I'm going to let you suffer and tell you about that little detail later...mwahaha.
SO...WHOS READY FOR MY WEEK??..HERE WE GOOOOOOO...
So first of all this last week has been sister larsens last week in the mission. She has Inspired and impacted me more than she knows. I think I have said this before but if I am anywhere near the missionary she is by the time I finish my mission. I will be happy. She has so many incredible qualities and she is just such a light!! She shines. And everyone sees it. She is going to have one incredible future..I can see it already. So as you can tell I really love her and have lived living with her in the house this past transfer. It's been the best. And it was a hard goodbye!!
Well what a last week of the transfer, miracles and miracles and more miracles!! We had a lot of rdvs with our Amis and members and ALOT of singing in the rain this week. The weather has been a little sad but it's been ONE HAPPY WEEK!! Haha
So we got to see Francis again this week. And normallu when we pass him, in his little cafe there are people there so he doesn't get to spend a lot of time with us. But this time...here comes the miracle there was nobody!! haha which MEANS we got to teach a really great lesson with him. We taught him the restoration and he loved it. It was really great. (And finally we took pictures with Francis. Haha so you get to see him!!)
Wednesday was a complete miracle day!! We went contacting before going to a members because we were a little early and we found this man, who was SO interested ..he was like "do you have time later today to explain more unfortunately we didn't but we fixed to see him next week which is really exciting. He has so many questions and he is searching for answers and we have, I just know it!!
But the most memorable miracle of that day was definitely when I sat right at the back of the bus, with all three seats next to me free, a woman walks from the front of the bus, to the back and looks at me, I smile at her. And she stops and comes and takes a seat opposite me. And says "thank you so much for your smile. I really need to see that. I don't want to bother you, but I need to talk, can I talk with you?" Of course!! She went on to telling me everything she is struggling with right now and everything that is going wrong in her life. Well after she said "thank you so much for listening and especially for your smile." For some reason this experience hit hard. You see how much a difference a smile can make!! Something so simple as smiling at someone can be exactly what they need. That blows my mind. So I've had a smile glued to my face now. Haha. So make sure your still smiling all the time. Because you never know!!
I FORGOT TO SAY HAPPY PANCAKE DAY!!!!! For Tuesday. We are in Suisse so we have a CREPE day!! Haha. They were soooo good!! I didn't get any pictures of your pancakes...tut tut tut haha!
IT SNOWED THIS WEEK TOO! Like a lot for one day and then it rained and it was gone. But anyway I WISH you could of seen me and sister Rauzduel trying to walk in the snow, it was sooo cold so it kind of froze a little and it rained too so it was all slushy. Well I really felt like a granny walking home. We were holding on to each others arms and catching us when we fell. Haha. It was hilarious. It normally takes 5 minutes to walk home from the gare but it took 30 minutes!!! Haha!!
We had district meeting this week!! WOO!... It was really fun. The district leader assigned all the equipes a topic to teach on. We taught on working better with members etc. we engaged them and us to improve on planning with members better before going and teaching someone. The member should know what we are teaching, what they can teach, where to testify etc it makes a whole lot of a difference!!
All the other equipes did fun games. Like working with missionaries we tried pulling a table with a string alone and it broke but when we all pulled lots of strings attached to the table at the same time it worked. We had a game where we played Simon says and they taught on obedience to our leaders and working more with stake and ward leaders etc. then we had an activity where we had to teach a lesson, but only saying one word at a time, so I would say one word and then my companion the next and they taught on working in unity with our companions. That was really funny and it's more difficult than you think, because you have to be thinking the same kinda thing! Haha. It was really fun and really effective
We watched a video on Christ and shared how the most Important person we need to be unified with, is with Christ, our savior. If we re unified with him, EVERYING will work out.
We need to be of one heart and one mind. As a mission, United all in the same purpose!!
One of my FAVOURITE members here, sister ishola. We shared a message on the spirit and we hid a little ball. And asked her to find it on her own without any clues and it was nearly impossible. Then me and sister Rauzduel told her when she was near or far etc and she finally found it. We taught on how we were the spirit. We have to listen to the spirits voice and promoting a to find what we need. But more importantly we have to act and follow it to find it too. She could of easily sat there and listened to us, but without moving and acting and putting in the effort she wouldn't of found the ball. It was great and she loved it!! (Again we took pictures!! Haha)
We went contacting on Friday and it WAS ABSOKUTELY CHURCKING IT DOWN. We contacted a lady and we couldn't eVen hear other that's how hard the rain wAs. But we were like "no we can't give up, we are speaking to her for a reason" so the woman just jokingly said "be quiet, seriously!" Haha and it got quieter!!! Hahaha it was hilarious. But we got to teach her the plan of salvation! It was epic.
This week we have been showing the Mormon message of "our true identity" and I just wanted to share me feelings and thoughts on this topic. But it's very important. And it's very simple actually. YOU are beautiful. YOU are important. YOU are unique. YOU have enormous PotentiAl! There you go. Done. Haha!! (Felt like I was quoting "the help" then... But seriously the moment when we realize who we really are, what is our true potential..where we can go! Life changes. It truly impacts the way you think, the way you speak and the way you act! It brings a whole new light into your life, because you realize you are needed, you are important, you are a child of God and he stands with you with every right choice you make!! Ahh makes me so happy!! :)
SO HERE WE COME...THE NEWS YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! Sorry for keeping you waiting...wasn't done on purpose...haha!! So we had transfer calls...ANDDDDD SISTER RAUZDUEL IS LEAVING ME!!!! :( I am so sad.because we got along soooo well from day one. We are so united in our teaching and in the work. And she is just an absolutely brilliant missionary who has impacted me soooo much. I have a friend for life right there. We have already made plans for after the mission. Haha. I love her a lot!!!
SO ME...I am staying in Geneva!! WOOOHOO!! But...I am receiving a BABY!!!! I AM TRAININGGGGG!!!!! Oh my days. So scared but SOOOOO EXCITED!! and that is why I am in Lyon...going to be staying here, have some training etc and then I get my lye on Wednesday!! AHHHH still cant believe it! It's going to be EPIC!!
STUDIESSS:
"We fail only if we fail to take another faithful step forward. We will not, we cannot, fail if we are faithfully yoked to the Savior--He who has never failed and will never fail us!"
- we have someone to count on. He will never fail us. Keep moving forward!! Keep swimming (finding nemo...haha) you know when all the fishes are swimming together and they see it as an impossible task but together they finally accomplish their goal and they celebrate afterwards. We are a team..we can do this together. It is possible. And the day will come when we will have accomplished our goal and we will all rejoice together!!!... Ooo I like that little nemo analogy! Ha
"Sometimes we pray and pray until our knees are sore for the miracle we want, but then God gives us the miracle we need."
- his plan is not always the plan we had made for ourselves but it's always better for us. It's always right. Remember he is our father, he knows us perfectly. Trusting in his plan and his timing is sometimes a really difficult thing to do, because it is sometimes completely opposite to what you want to do. But we need to trust him, and move forward with faith and it will all work out.
Luke 22:20- read it. He says the blood shed FOR you. I studied this out in my mind. And it's powerful how it doesn't say "this blood shed because of you, because of your sins etc" but "FOR " you. It is a gift he has given us and we must use it. I liked that.
Well here comes to the start of another transfer. Time is flying. It's scaring me a little. I am very excited for what this transfer has to bring....ohh and zyrafete has a baptismal date!!! WAHOOO!! So excited for that too!! So many mirc!es are in store I can feel it!!
Well I hope you know I love you with all of my heart. Each week you make me laugh, smile and I just love it. Don't go changing! Haha. Stay the incredible you's!!
I LOVE YOUUUU!!!!!!!!!
LOVE YOUR ONE AND ONLY...
